Thankful days 11, 12, & 13! Plus exciting news!

I've been in hiding again.
Well, not hiding per say, but I've been in front of my sewing machine having a good time!

Let me catch up on things I'm thankful for first!

11th:
For some awesome girlfriends wanting to go do "nerdy" things with me.
Including but not limited to seeing Peter, Nikki, Charlie, Jackson, and Ashley from Breaking Dawn part 1.
You can see the news clip HERE.
Yes, we were inside.
No I haven't downloaded the pics off my camera yet.
Like I said, I've been busy!

12th:
For my sewing machine and the ability to get over the fear of using it.
I'm having SO MUCH FUN!
My gramma and nanny would be so proud!

13th:
For the times where our little family has a giggling good time.
Today the kids just busted up over nothing, and Hubby and I had to laugh at them laughing.
I'm sure we were teasing them about something to make them laugh so hard.
But for the life of me, I can't remember what it was, just that they were so darn happy!

Moving along to my news!
After much anticipation, anxiety, and a little bit of self conscious feelings, I've finally put some new stuff in my Etsy store!
Many of you remember I was selling Apple Butter and Watermelon Jam this spring.
Then came my busy summer, and I didn't list anything else.

But the past 2 weeks my desire to sell stuff came up again and I've listed some coffee cozy's into my store!

Also, for the next week, you can get 15% off your order by using COFFEECOZY15

I'd love to hear some of your feedback!
I also offer the option to combine 2 cozy patterns to make a custom reversible cozy!

Thanks for stopping in today!
Have a great week!

AWESOME week ahead!

I'm pretty excited, because I had a stroke of genius this weekend.
Well, it's a minor one, but in the end, the product was AWESOME.

I've created some awesome, limited edition, Halloween reversible cozies!
I'll be putting up all my different coffee cozies into my Etsy store this week!
They are ADORABLE!

Then, on Friday, I'm going to kick the weekend into gear by launching my first ever GIVEAWAY!

If you have ever wanted to get into digital scrapbooking, then you'll definitely want to stay tuned!
And I'm not talking just a kit...oh no...it's so much neater than that!!

It's going to be a great week.
I'm off to make dinner and then do some more sewing!
I've got a bazillion ideas and not enough time!
Volunteering at schools.
Regular mom stuff.
Church stuff.
Wifey stuff.

Finding Balance in the RIGHT NOW.

Right now my life is just a freaking mess of chaos.

We are getting ready to move at the end of the month. Thankfully, we don't have to be out of our current place until near the end of March. It's a blessing really. However, I'm still feeling swamped due to the fact that I want as much as possible to move when we have the help.

On top of it, I have my normal mommy duties, of taking care of the kids, cleaning house, laundry and maintaining everything else I do on a normal basis.

Thats when my Etsy store and my digi-scrapping take a hit to the bottom of the pile.

I feel kind of bad to be honest. I'm such a tease on my Facebook page, about getting things listed, but I have every intention....and then it falls flat behind packing, painting, cleaning, taxi driving, folding and cooking.

So, I'm sorry I've been such a tease.

On my Facebook page, I have a list of what I have in stock. I'd love to send you some of what I have. Just email me and I will let you know how.

But for now, my Etsy shop is going to remain empty, but only until after I get out of these boxes...but before I get to Disneyland.

So, I'm thinking mid-March...

Fair enough?

Etsy....the Beginning

I know it's been weeks since I last wrote.
I'm still trying to get back into the swing of things. Everywhere in my life.

Christmas was amazing. So wonderful to spend the morning with my kids and listen to them squeal and get excited over every.little.thing. We talked about Santa not coming, and I asked if they were upset or disheartened, and they said no. They were happy with everything they'd gotten.

I went to a conference in Grand Junction, Colorado just after Christmas, and we had a BLAST. It was difficult with 2 kids and just me, but I have the most AWESOME friends in the whole world who were there. And they stepped in to help me, a LOT.

So here I am, 10 days past my "start" date for my Etsy store, and I have a big ol' NUTTIN in it. It's fabulous really. I plan on putting in my "famous" Apple Butter and Watermelon Jam soon. I'm working in my head several different sewing projects as well. My mom sparked my imagination last night at dinner and I'm pretty excited about it, but you'll have to wait to see what I come up with. :)

Lastly, I'm watching prices for strawberries. I've got to make another batch of Strawberry JalapeƱo jam. I made 8 jars or so in August, and it's ALL gone. All of it. Gone. Loved that stuff. So watch for that in my store in the future. :)

For now, you can just go and look at the beautiful logo my mom helped me out with. :) Thanks Mom!
