My Memories Digital Scrapbook Software Giveaway!!

You all know I'm a hard core digital scrapbooking addict.

This is nothing new for my dedicated readers.
I've been doing it for 4 years.

I was recently approached by My Memories to try out their digital scrapbooking software.

I had heard about them from my good friend, and digi scrap designer, Trixie Scraps.

Honestly, I just want to say, this software was a bit frustrating for me.

I have been using Photoshop Elements 7 for 2 years, and I used Paint Shop Pro 9 for 4 years before that.
This is different from those other programs I have used, by a lot.
In order to bring in your files that you wanted to use, that you perhaps picked up as a freebie or purchased outside of MyMemories, you had to load them directly into the program by going into the program files and splitting them up.
I found a fantastic tutorial on youtube that explains how you can do that.

This program allows you to make your own pages, or use the templates/quickpages that you can buy or they already have in the program!
It allows you to shadow, alter, or add shapes to your pages.
Along with text for journaling, titles and word art as well.
My Memories Suite comes loaded with lots of goodies to try out!

This is an EXCELLENT program for those that are new to digital scrapbooking.

I think everyone who has ever paper scrapped, should try digital scrapbooking.
This is a great way to get started and find that digital scrapbooking is cheaper, cleaner, and much more fun!

I feel....

I feel icky...oh so icky....

I had an onset of unprecedented allergies in September.

I have NEVER had allergies in September.

Itchies, sneezies, and oh so much Benedryl.

When the rain hit last week, and my sniffles weren't gone, I knew that I was sick.

I knew that my allergies had turned into a sinus infection.

{mom, I hear you laughing}

I promise sweet readers, she's not laughing because I'm sick, she's laughing because that's her favorite saying of all time.

Well, not really, it's more of a family joke.

I digress.

It took me out yesterday....the day I had planned to sit down and play with the My Memories Suite, after a suspenseful and busy week.

The day I had planned to arrange photos of my Swapoween package.

To finish sewing my cozies and upload them to Etsy.

The day I was expecting to get stuff done.

Instead, I laid in bed and watched gLee, Ace of Cakes, and Pan Am on Hulu.

So today is going to be that day that I do the stuff I planned on doing yesterday.

So I'm moving the Giveaway to tomorrow.
